“Stupid People Voted For Bush”
The latest exercise in post election resentment can be found in a recent link I received to a site correlating states’ “average IQ” and how their citizens voted in the last election. Of Course, those states claimed to have lower average IQs happen to be the ones that voted for Bush, and all those geniuses out there that wanted to appease terrorism and erect a more powerful socialist authority voted for Kerry. (We’ve all heard this train of thought before).
Another Irony in this latest bit of partisan nonsense is that the left – particularly in college Education schools – has always insisted on the irrelevance of “IQ” test results as a valid measure of intelligence.
This latest escapade in sour grapes is just a continuation of the left’s, “I’m an Ubermensch” mentality. The crusade of condescending bitterness continues.
If the Bush people are so stupid, why are those on the left the ones paving a road to their own defeat again in 2008?

I'd never actually thought of it that way before, but there is a high intolerance for nerds, geeks, & other assorted technophiles in the US. And the word 'technophobe' leaps out at me . . . But, really, I'm not qualified to diagnose anyone with a phobia, so I won't.
